fresh water cooling

is it possable or advisable to add a fresh water cooling system to a older boat 1977 searay ford 351 never been in salt water but would like to use in gulf of mexico 4 months out of the year will be dry docked after each use

Not recommended. Max "recommened" time before installing a FWC system is 125 hours or 1 year.

Get some Salt-Away and flush after each use, you should be fine.

thxs don just purchased the boat my first dont know the hrs but everything seems to work great heard it was better to cool with freshwater
