Whats stock Prop Pitch on 83/84 150

i looked at my prop and there are no numbers that i can read . i have a 83 mariner 150 and when im at wot i reach 5000 rpm i am wondering if anyone knows what the stock pitch is on the prop. i was told that i could rev up to 5400-5500 with no problem. plus i would like to get a new prop anyway.. thanks

No such thing as a stock pitch. These motors could go on all kinds of boats from bass boats to cabin cruisers. You need to figure out what pitch it is in order to get the right prop for it. Check under the prop nut for numbers.
