vro tank wires found 1 hook up the other goes where?

i found where the end of one plugs in engine harness the other has a flat connector as if it goes to a bolt somewhere but where? the seloniod? 1988 johnson outboard 140 hp

Any engine ground point. Mine goes to a bolt in the engine behind the starter.
