Hello;
I'm hoping someone will know if "Seagull" boats, manufactured in Naples Fl. until 2001, was bought out by someone. I have a 18' Catamaran that has a cavitation problem with a following sea, and the local marine mechanic says he thinks it is because I am underpowered (it came from the manufacturer with a 50hp motor on it), the deck tag says that the boat will only handle a 75hp, but I've seen bigger motors on others and I would like to ask the manufacturer some questions, or if someone else knows for sure how to SAFELY put a 90hp on this type of boat.
Can anyone help?
