Gas pumping out of the top of carb

the gas is just pumpingb out of the top of the carb, it ran great the other day and when I was WOT on the lake it bogged down and chugged along until it stalled I looked at the engine and could see gas dripping out of the top of the carb.....any help would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are we working on here? See sticky at top of this forum

Basically, sounds like it's time to open up the carb and rebuild it and find out what's in there causing the needle valve to stick open............. if that is where the fuel is coming from.

Sorry it is a 1977 120hp OMC 2 barrell Rochester...the gas is coming out of the chute in the top of the carb...the slanted chute is that the needle?

Not trying to be mean, but you need to find a mechanic.

Ayuh,......

It's probably Easily Fix,....

Get a Carb Kit,+ Rebuild it.....
