here is the boat in question:

The guy wants $300 for it. no motor of course.

But, im thing it be really cool to drive around the river.

this the kind of thing i could bolt a 20-50hp outboard on and have myself a cheap little hydrofoil racing boat?

obviously it wont be quick. im looking at more of fun, unike, and cheap.

Float huh?

you think these things need constant power (or thrust) to stay afloat?

and heat huh- never thought of that

Looks like a 45SST, or maybe a Formula 50? It certainly isn't a toy - enclosed capsule are there for safety reasons in collisions, but a bear if you go upside down. Search around the web for info on small tunnels. Check out ScreamAndFly.com, Hydroracer.net and BoatRacingFacts.com for more information. Keep safety high on your list - kill switch, life jacket, helmet, etc....
