Hi all,
I have a question about starting a 4hp seahorse. I can start it only if the throttle is way past the start position, and with choke, it runs good once started. I adjusted the mix on the high and low side, as per the post in the FAQ section, and it runs like a champ once started. I let it warm up for 15 minutes and if I shut it off i have to choke it to start it again. once started it runs great. is this normal for a 69 seahorse. I checked the fuel filter it is clean as a whistle. and I put new plugs in it tonight as well. is there any thing I missed? the only thing I was thinking was the bulb on the tank gets a little soft and is fairly old could it be sucking air and once running it is OK? also the fuel line is the old firm type too maybe I should change it out but I figured I would ask here first before I start changing things out.
thanks for your help,
Loren
