Motor starts and runs fine but when the keys is turned to the off position the engine continues to run. I have replaced the ignition switch and that did not solve the problem. Understand that it may be the power pack but do not know how to check it. Could someone provide helpfule ideas.
Thanks

I had the same problem with my 175, as said black w/yellow strip. You can shut key off and pull a plug wire from one side at a time, pull one and if no difference then put back on, and go to the other side and pull one off, if there is a difference that's the side still running.

There was a rubber plug on mine that has a little needle inside to connect when the plug is pluged in, I guess the wire got pulled some how?? but the needle was pulled in to the rubber and no longer connecting. Easy fix.

But that wire is broke or pluged out some place.

Good Luck

Make sure your ground at the key switch is good. Test for a ground on the black w/yellow at the pack with the key off. if you don't have one, the problem is between the key and the pack. Pulling plug wires off while the engine is running is bad for the coils. Try not to do that too much if at all.
