Fails to start

I have a new fuel pump, new spark plugs on my 9.9 Johnson Sea Horse (1983 - manual start). It starts, but stops right away. Any ideas?

Welcome to iboats.

Will pumping the primer bulb keep her running? Choking it? Spraying pre mixed fuel into the carb throats?

in neutral, is the throttle set as high as it will go.
