Thought I'd throw this out there and see what comes back.

Replacing 38 year old vinyl? flooring but want to steer away from carpet for a number of reasons.

Have been searching for a paint of some sort but not had much luck. Want something very durable, gas and oil resistant and slip resistant. Found a 2 part epoxy product from Quikrete that is intended for garage floors. It is even tintable in one of 64 colors. Looks ideal on paper but their tech people would not endorse its use on fiberglass, saying it is intended for concrete and masonry.

Being epoxy (if it really is) should it not adhere to almost anything? Of course the fiberglass will be meticulously cleaned and roughed up with 80grit sandpaper. What are your thoughts and / or experiences?

Has anyone used an epoxy floor paint they could recommend?

Any paint that is made for concrete and masonry is something I'd steer clear of. I'm thinking that they won't endorse on FRP is probably due to its molecular structure. Considering that concrete and such is so much coarser than glass the bond just may not be there.
Nah, stick with stuff that you know will work. :D

I've done a few with Rustoleum Professional Garage floor epoxy paint, it's listed for use on many surfaces and it bonds well to glass. It's also gas and oil resistant.
It's sold as: EPOXY Shield Professional Floor Coating by Rustoleum

This is the most common brand but there are several brands now making such a coating.
