Hi
I have twin Yamaha 150 4 strokes installed on my 2007 26' Glacier Bay.
I just picked up the boat from my dealer. They had to replace the trim pump on the starboard engine.
One of the complaints I had when I brought the boat to the dealer was that the trim indicators on the tachs were out of sync. The gauges for both of the engines were not accurate. The indicators would move when the engines were raised or lowered, but, for example, the trim indicator would show about 50% when the engine was all of the way down.
Now that I just got the boat back, the starboard indicator is fairly accurate, but it still shows 2 bars when the engine is all the way down. The port engine shows 3 or 4 bars when the engine is all the way down.
Are these indicators easy to adjust?
I know I can bring the boat back to the dealer, and it will be repaired under warrany, but I keep the boat on a lift behind my house. Besides that, I don't have a vehicle large enough to tow the boat so I have to get a friend and borrow his truck to tow the boat. In other words, it's a real hassle.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
