Well, one of my pet peeves is misuse/distortions of the true meanings of words in our language. :)

While I understand (and agree) with what you said JB. This statement opens another can of worms. Our language is continually evolving and certain words be interpeted quite differently from their "dictionary" definition.

I accept the fact that one cannot always be literal at the risk of being
misunderstood!

But I digress...
