Last time I ran my boat motor, 96 150 enivrude, ran good. While boat was on trailer, I noticed oil coming out of drain plug where my VRO oil reservior is located. Cleaned up oil and look inside compartment and did not see any oil sprayed anywhere. Refilled my oil reservior and placed in storage. Went to storage today and oil on ground, came from same drain plug. Look at oil reservior and about 4" gone. Is this just a cracked reservior? Can I replace this or should I take it to the shop? Want to fish this coming weekend.

I imagine the drain plug is the lowest point so that would be where it dripped from. Best thing would be to remove and inspect the resevoir for damage.
A photo would help us all to make further suggestions. Make sure all connections are tight.
Another way to possibly locate the leak is to clean it off completely and watch for the first signs of seepage.
You have the advantage of being able to see it. We are going to be diagnosing "blind"

you need to determine if the tank is cracked or a hole in line. you can do it if mechanically inclined, or take it to the shop.
