fibre glass hull repair

I have a RIB with a ridgid fibreglass hull which has some cracks in where it has been in contact with the trailer suport brackets, how should I go about reapirs. many thaks in advance

i havent worked on rib's but im betting gluvit will be the answer.....

sorry....im really tired.....did you say fiberglass hull in the rib?
the gluvit is for an alum hull.

can you add pics so we know how to help you?

but basicaly......thats easy....has the hull deformed with the trailer wheels/bunks?

if not....youll want to grind/ sand the area. clean with aceitone then add a layer of csm then a veil of woven matt...fair or feather the edged well so it wont inturupt the plaining surface of the hull.....

then depending on the stregnth of the hull....you might want to run a layer of thicker cloth on the inside of the hull for more stregnth in the trailer contact areas....
