70's 20hp mercury 2 strk prop problem

was going down river and it acted like i popped out of gear, but was in gear. was able to idle back to the dock, but under power it was like it was out of gear. later i cheacked prop and i can turn it spinnig on the shaft while in gear. is my prop shot ? or is it something else inside ? help!

Sounds like a spun hub.A prop shop can rehub it.

yep prop spun, shop had a used one for 20 bucks, i fishing again
