which outdrive do I have?

I bought a 1976 sea star flybridge with a ford windser 351. I tried to find some numbers on the outdrive to order parts. I think it is a mercruiser. Are there numbers and where would I look? Thanks

Ayuh,....

The #s are probably Long Gone....

If it's a Mercruiser,... It's a Model 1 drive... Probably with 1.50:1 gears...

What color is your outdrive ? Does the engine say mercruiser somewhere on it ? Does it say OMC ? Got a picture ?

It is black and has no markings, does have two hydraulic arms which move unit up and down for trim

Unless you are talking about innards, all of the parts are the same for 1971-1991......
