Show is made in Canada and everything they show is being made there. Surprised all the workers are not drinking beer and eating back bacon. Take off, to the great white north!

The have done shows in Pennsylvania. One at Zippo Lighters in Bradford, PA (the Canadian plant has been closed down for many years) and another at Channellock Tools in Meadville, PA. They have also done Cairns firehelmets. I'm not sure where they're made, but the offices are based in Pittsburgh.

Although it still gives us the basics, and there isn't much difference if any between how one brand is made and the other, allot of the times both brands come off the same line.

all though there is a bazillion different materials that can be used....all production is bascally the same.......mold,,,gellcoat,,,,chopper gun or hand laid....strings...deck...motor and drive...sysetms...cap....sales floor

heh heh heh.....they never showed the staff room....or the workers breaks did they ?:D

the mackenzie brothers (bob and doug) were from a segment on a canadian show based out of edmonton alberta in the early eightys....called second city tv.
second city....was canadas version of "saturday night live" it was roughly based on a parady of a rag tag television network. (kinda like "WKRP" tv show).....the leaded/owner of the mock network rode around in a wheel chair...."because it gained him respect"

the show ...after huge canadian sucess was moved to toronto.....after that it gained popularity in the us markets....hence the full legnth movies of bob and doug....

rush did their "take off" song...(a canadian band)
but bob and doug did "the twelve days of christmas song all by their selves !

second city also launched the carrers of john candy, ugene levy, rick morannis, and a lot of other major motion picture stars.

just some quick trivia for ya.

cheers

You guys are killing me :D

The Geddy Lee "Take Off to The Great White North" song wasn't in the Strange Brew movie... It was on the McKenzie brother's Take Off album... sheesh :D
I could never figure out what the big deal was about. The song is one of the most annoying, idiotic pieces of crap ever to assault the ears of FM radio listeners. How Geddy Lee ever leant his voice to the Mckenzie Bros. brand of moronic humor is beyond me. But one good thing, they have dissapeared into oblivion.
