88 14ft lund boat floor question

hello all,
I have been remodeling my 88 lund boat. This particular boat had a soft floor so in order to get the floor out I angle grinded the middle quarter/half benches rather than messing with rivets. The only storage I had in this boat was those benches. So I made the standard storage boxes that run along the sides of alot of boats. Well at least one side is done anyway. I forgot to screw the floor to the aluminum runners/braces? underneath. Is this something I should worry about structurally? Or is it to just make sure the floor stays down, I can't imagine how it could move anyway. It came riveted from the factory though. I dont want to remove the side storage after I just got it in to mark the runners. So I am stumped on what to do as the triangle peice of the floor after the last bench wasnt fastened to anything underneath as there was no runners underneath it. So I am thinking if that didnt need to be secured to anything underneath neither does the main floor part? I hope that made sense, I have gotten into overthinking mode and the project is slowing way down. Any thoughts or suggesting are much appreciated.

since a lund is a riveted boat can you look on the outside of the hull to find the rivets that hold the runners in? if you can locate them that way then with some careful measuring and good luck you should then be able to mark them on the floor and fasten it down. doesn't answer the question if you need to fasten the floor down but if you can find the runners then you could fasten the floor down and not have to wonder if you have to or not.

Unfortunatly I don't think that idea would work, because even with careful measuring I am thinking it would be very difficult to line everything up. I dont know if I am over cautious but I would hate to drill holes in a brand new marine grade plywood floor and miss the mark, not to mention the fact that the screws will wind up the carpeting a bit with every hole. I used the indooor/outdoor plastic loop junk.

If all you're worried about is the floor not being screwed down it's not an issue. Some people leave the floor unattached so they can easily pull out sections to let them dry, or get to stuff that fell through.
