Last night (Saturday) the Wife and I were at our friends house. We had a few "pops" and I decided to take some back roads home (rural New York) to avoid the main, policed roads. About half way home we heard and felt something hit the truck. I'm thinking it's a deer. This is a dark, secluded road with no houses anywhere in sight. I get out and there's a pig laying there. It's alive but there are no houses or farms around so I put it to the side of the road. Next day a Sheriff's car pulls into our driveway. He issues me a ticket for not reporting hitting a pet! I now understand that it is the same as hitting a dog or cat. Who knew?!!
