Re: boat steering

what motor do you have? is it just a simple open aluminum fishing boat? there is no cheap anything with a boat. i recommend, ezglide stick steering, and motor remote controls.

Re: boat steering

I agree with TD.
Simple is relative.
You're talking remote controls and cables, steering wheel and cables, probably a console to mount the wheel. Then there's the motor linkage.
Seems like a lot considering what you have.

Thats what I was thinking. I would love stick steering and remote cables. But I really think that I will jsut save and try to get something with a console. I would love to get something like a 13' whaler replica or something like that.

Re: boat steering

well i am going to look at a 14' glastron today around 5. it has the controls and steering. It doesn't have a motor but he says its solid and no rot. I will check closely. For now i will trow my 8hp on it to putt around and fish until I can find a motor that will either match the controls or one that comes with them. He will sell it for 300 with the trailer. and I will try to sell my tinny to make up for it. The down side is no windshield.
