im trying to get some Prop. numbers on my 1975 johnson 4 hp sea horse.
its a 4r75 c
not sure where to get one once i get the info though?

Well...... take the prop off and get the numbers, then go to iboat.com and check out props. By the way Welcome to the iboat forum. If you have questions about which prop is best take a look at the postings at the start of the prop forum. They will give you the idea of what kind of information you need to get the best prop for your application.

i'm pretty sure the prop that came with it when i bought it is not the right one randy. it's about 5 in. in dia. and the best i came up with it should be bigger. it hardly moves in the water, even though the motors running pretty good.

I did a quick check on the listing and iboat does not have a prop listed for that engine. I checked a few other sites on the internet and found a 7 1/2 pitch 6 1/2 inch diameter prop listed. What is your application? There may not be a lot of choices available.

not sure what you mean by application. it's going on a 12 ft. alumn. boat.
