I have a 1989 20 foot Regal with an Eagal tandom trailer. It is a nice trailer and all, but ever since i bought it, when applying brakes, the trailer bangs forward. Now i know it is supposed to move forward, but i would think it would be a little smoother. I have never had a trailer with Hyd brakes before, so i am just wondering if this is normal, or something is wrong.

This is usually an indication that your low on brake fluid or your brakes need bleed and or adjusted.

well just the other day, i did notice it was low on brake fluid, and topped it up. Havent used it since, and maybe not till next year. Might go thru and bleed it also.
