Hello,

I went to start my 2002 evinrude ficht 150 today and nothing happened. The battery is good but there is no power coming out of the switch to the gauges or to the motor. Everything that does not go thru the switch works fine. Is there a fuse before the switch and can the switch go bad? I looked under the dash and there is numerous wires under the dash and I dont know where to start. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Check your fuse, 20amp. Under power head cover toward the rear of eng. Its ina rubber fuse holder.

Re: Ignition Switch?

I have a 150- 250 Rude book to look it up but I think the only fuses are on the fuse panel mounted to the outboard. Might try testing the starter sol to verify voltage with a test light. Im assuming the led lights dont light up on your dash?

Check main fuse under power head cover. Owners manual should show you where.
