9.9 air adjustment

Can anyone tell me the procedure for setting the air adjustment screw on a 1996 Mercury 9.9 horsepower 4 stroke?

In the water or on muffs the water it better. With the throttle at idle turn the speed screw out till it is free of the lever and then screw it in 1 turn. Next screw the idle mixture screw in till it bottoms gently then back it out 3 turns + or - 1 turn to adjust for smoothness, then you may go back to the speed screw and adjust to 850 RPM in gear.

Thanks for the quick response Laddies. I'll put her in the water tomorrow and make the adjustments on the lake.
