I have had an 86 Imperial 24 foot with a cuddy for the last 2 years and love most everything about it except it seems to lean to the right to much for my comfort at times when running at higher speeds. It does it all the time but its more uncomfortable at higher speeds. I am about 6 foot 2 and 250. Am I the reason it sits like that? It feels like its going to tip over and I hate turning to the right because it really seems to tip too much. The boat has a bench seat for 2 people on the driver?s side.

Could you all give me some ideas on how to fix this or if I should sell and move on to a different boat.

Thanks for all the advice

Need more info?
What motor/outdrive
Do you have trim tabs?
Are your batteries on the starboard side?
Does it list when you are not on the boat (no passengers)?

As far as I can remember

1. V8 305 / Mercruser Alpha

2. No trim tabs but have been reading about the smart tabs and might try them if it will help with the lean.

3. Batteries are on the drivers side (same side I sit).

4. Not 100% sure but am pretty sure it doesn't lean.

Hope this helps. If you need more info let me know.

Ayuh,...

#2,.. I'd consider Smart Tabs, but would probably go with operator controlled tabs...

#3,... Move them... You've got to balance the hull as much as possible....

#4,.. Guessing isn't going to Help....
