Triumph Rick took my brothers, son and myself out on a fishing trip last Friday and you could'nt have asked for a better day. Calm seas, good food, sunny day lot's of fish and lot's of fun! Here are a few pics. Thanks Rick!
Looks like fun. Good pix...always helps. Posts like this help to get through the winter. Here, it's 32 degrees, snowed last night, wind is kickin', ice on the creek, boats are pulled and I couldn't cast 2# test now if my life depended on it.

Thanks for the flowers there LX kid! (CB talk) The pleasure was all mine to say the least. We warmed up to about 75 that day and really had a good ride out. For those interested, the first pic is of son Gene and brother John (inspecting grouper guts?). Next pic is of Ron (LX kid) holding the only legal grouper of the day. As the host, you all know I HAD to let him catch it.
Next pic is of brother Frank and grouper, with the host testing air quality with tounge out
All in all a great day and at least we were able to spend some quality time enjoying what we all love the best. Boating, fishing, friends and family.
Hey there FBT...I, too want the LX kid to get that baby running so we can try some fishing in his end of town! But he's right about the weather. Ever since our trip last friday we have had several fronts and the rain and cold (40's brrrrr) has come thru.
We are going out again Sunday and I think again on Tuesday. This is a really good time of the year for us as lot's of bigger fish move closer in. Would like to limit out on some grouper!
That trip was taken out of Bayport. Hwy 50 dead ends into the park and ramps. This is all west of Brooksville, Fl. Went to the ledges, today about 30 miles out. Lots of trash fish and no keepers. Really bad tide during the time we were fishing...
