sure wish i could open the link. i'm interested as my first car was a 72 datsun 1200.... mighty fine car short of the body that rusted away into the sunset...

Anyhow It's pretty cool and highly impressive!!............I wonder how much $$$ and time he has invested. And would be interested in seeing it preform as a daily driver, in a real life environment.........................say in Central Minnesota where sustained sub freezing and even sub zero temps are common for weeks at a time in the winter months.

Oh, that's right. People actually do live in that environment. :p

Anyway, how would that thing generate any heat??

i used to race Rc cars when i was a kid and i had a Nitromethane powered car and slowly but surely the electric guys caught up.. now with lithium ion batteries and brushless motors they cannot be touched by an internal combustion engine. I have a Electric rc car that will run 75mph. its cool to see the technology on a larger scale. I think you will eventually see cars get 300 miles on a 1 hr charge.

Nice post. :D Had one of these lil?Datsuns in the 80's that I ran slomon races with.
