Looking for a part....

I'm not sure what it's called that I'm looking for therefore I'm having problems finding the part.

I've got a 21' I/O. What I'm looking for is the deck that covers the motor. Most everyone would know if I called it the "layout deck." My "deck" has been weathered and I'm in need of a new one. Anyone know where to find one?

Commonly called a "dog house". Now, are you looking for the entire assembly or just the top of it?
Oh yea, the make of the boat would help A LOT. Year and model too.

I'm just looking for the part that raises and lowers.

Desperate times call for desperate measures - might start with your local Bayliner dealer. May be some NOS laying around. Also take a look thru here: http://www.greatlakesskipper.com/
Other than that if the piece is repairable I'd certainly go that route first - save a bundle of money.

if it's only weathered you can get it re-upholstered.

Just look under Bayliner parts. If they have what you need it will be posted there. By the way " doghouse " is a very generic term.
