Last night just before the wife and I headed to bed..... I had a talk with our pets ...... the dogs and the cats. I told them the christmas story and told the cats that it would be better if we had a mouse.

God as my witness..... this morning I looked at the coffee table .... looked again and just started laughing out loud. Grab the camera and also called the wife at work....... I told her about the cat's leaving us a gift!

Not a creature was stirring........ not even a mouse! OMG the cats came through!

How cool is that......:D:D I was proud of my kitty when I seen her with (I think) her first mouse a few weeks back. She always liked playing around with and killing lizards, that I already knew, but the mouse was news to me.

Re: My true Christmas Story

Well this is one of the young cats from the litter the barn cat had this past April. We kept a pair of brothers and they are both up to about 8 1/2 lbs and have proved to be great mouser's.

This is the first time they have just set one on the table and left it there.

You're lucky he didn't deliver half a mouse.
My mouser got feline leukemia some years back and have never replaced him. Ever since then, the mice, moles squirrels, and the odd cricket are a problem...never knew how much he earned his keep.
