What hull?

I picked up this hull here in Mexico. There were no documents, or any sign of make / year / model.

Over the years I added the bench seats. Now that I have a few bucks saved I will install a 40Hp engine, seats, trawling motor etc.

I want to keep it as a fishing boat, as it is very stable and I have thrown it around some rough lakes.

Anyone have an idea?

Thanks

Pavan

Re: What hull?

if the boat was built after 72. it should have a hull id number on the starboard side of the transom somewhere. or. perhaps somewhere else on the transom. my 75 has the hin molded into the glass in the center of the transom, right above my drive.

if the boat was built in 72 or earlier. ya may be outa luck for ID'ing it if there are no other identity marks on it. unless someone recognizes the boat you have.. i don't recognize it myself.. pretty yellow though...

Ziggy,

No offense but Mexico kind of rules out anything that we, in the States, know.

If there are no ID tags then-WHO KNOWS?

There are so many "knock offs" out there that it could be anybody's guess.

An ID tag removes all mystery.

Try fiberclassics or fiberglassics.com Hundreds of old boat manufacturers and photos there.

Re: What hull?

Nice boat. A 40hp will probably be just right!
