If you want a pump you'll need to try the dealer.There are kits here but it appears they somehow skip the 69.

1968,69,70 fuel pumps were all OMC 0382354 ($96.99 List)
Sierra part is 18-7352 ($47.99)

your right, i called the evinrude dealer and thy want 96.99 for the pump... they do not have a rebuild kit so I will get one off here. thanks

You can always go to http://shop.evinrude.com/ to get the parts diagrams and OEM part numbers, back to 1968 motors.

I have a 1969 Evinrude 40HP also.....
