Not getting any spark on the lower plug. Put new coils in it and even switched and the problem stayed on the side. It didnt follow the coil, so its not the coils, not the wire, and not the plug. I have confirmed all that. What is next to check? Does this model have sensors under the flywheel that could go bad, or could it be in the power pack?

And how can I tell if it is one of these problems, or what else should I take a look at.

thanks

There is a very good chance it's the switch box but the flywheel magnets do come loose sometimes, you can look under the flywheel and check them without pulling the flywheel in most cases. Heres a system test.

Would they just physically be loose? If that were the case?

Will most mechanics test the electrical stuff without charging an hour labor?

I dont have the stuff to test the loads and etc...but I just want to know what the problem is.

I do know its not the ignition coils, wire, or plugs.

thanks

Yes in most cases the 2 magnets will have slide together instead of 180 degrees apart and no most service shops don't work without being paid. Do you?

I just didnt want to pay someone $90 to hook a wire up to something on my motor and read a number off of an lcd screen. Then say yay or nay.

I teach and coach, so yes it feels like I work all the time for no pay.

ha, I will check the magnets, how are they held in place?

The magnets are held in place with any good grade or epoxy glue, there will be a mark where it was attached in the paint both the inside of the flywheel and the back of the magnet need to be cleaned with sandpaper but before removing the magnet mark it's directionally orientation as if the polarity is reversed it will not work.
