The plate with model# is on the part that bolts to the boat the clamp,
model# 140ML77S
serial# J4780302

Is this the numbers that tells you the year model?

This boat it's on is a 1986 Phamtom bass boat,
thanks....

All V4 crossflows are 90* blocks. The first 60* looper wasn't until 1995.

Check the fuse. It's 20 amp at the terminal block.

Does the choke work from the remote control? If yes, you may have a neutral safety switch issue or the control not be in neutral.

If the choke doesn't work from the control you may have a blown fuse. Look by the starter solenoid, it's a short 20 amp fues in a red holder.

Great. Look for an issue with the control not being in neutral, an issue with the neutral safety switch (or related wiring) or even the starter solenoid being bad. If you have 12 volts across the small terminals on the solenoid when the key is turned to the start position, the solenoid itself may be bad.
