I got a 88 Mercury 115 HP over the winter, It was sitting for 2-3 years!!

It turns over with a little gas, but what would you suggest i do before i try to make her run for awhile?

New plugs? Any kind of carb cleaner i can spray in her?

I was going to do the lower unit oil once i know she runs good!!

Any help would be great!!

Change the gear lube, then new fuel now remove item #11 and clean the high speed jets with some spray carb cleaner before replacing the #11 plugs (link) http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show...N/15183.png&inbr=359&bnbr=70&bdesc=Carburetor now pump the primer bulb to see if each carb is getting fuel. Now reinstall the drain plugs and prelube the cyls. With it hooked to a hose see if it will start. If it sounds OK I would install a new impeller and head for the lake.

Some models they are about impossable to get out, so all you can do it try. Yes, WD 40 or most any spray lube similar will work.
