NEED Professional guy help ~~~

I have this sunbird boat for few years,but i really forget what model it is, could some one help me please ?
And I couldn't find the boat's whole information, like menu and anything else....could some professional people tell me how to find them? Like which company manufacture this boat and how to contact them in order to get another boat info. please~~~~~

Search "Sunbird" and see what you find.

The problem is ALOT of companies have gone under in the last 6 months and they may not be around anymore or they hav ebeen bought out and they don't keep all the literature.

Add to that it looks like an older boat so you may not have any luck.

Boats aren't like cars to where you can og get a Clymers manual for the baot, they may have only made 100-200 of your boat so it doesn't make sense to make a manual for it.

Google it.

1st edit your post, resize your pictures!! what is the Hull ID #, does it say Sundancer or Sunbird on the side?

it show "SUN BIRD" & "250 AFT CABIN" on the side .
and the engine is VOLVO PENTA SX COBR4

the HIN has the year, last 2 numbers in the HIN.

Sunbird went out of business around 1998 so there is nobody to contact. I tried when I bought my first boat which was a 1990 sunbird barletta 204. I never found much information on them, but for the 4 years I had my boat it was great and I was the third owner in 2000.

Sunbird was a boat company that was owned by OMC (Outboard Marine Corp). I am not sure what happened to Sunbird in the mid 90s when OMC started to have problems. It looks like Sunbird quit producing boats in 1998. I wouldn't doubt that OMC kept the company for a couple years before they shut it down.

The Volvo Penta SX drive on your boat indicates it is probably a 95 or 96 model year I think. That drive was a joint venture between OMC and Volvo Penta.

Get the HIN off the boat and you can nail down what year the boat is. The year will be the last two digits of the HIN.

There is no one to contact. They are out of business.

What do you mean by "menu"?

The engine and outdrive would be something that was made by Volvo Penta. They would support it and there is plenty of info on the internet about the engine and the specs, etc.

THe true is My father wanna bring this boat back to TAIWAN, but TAIWAN Customs need us to show them the books about this boat we don't have those books in hand, so wanna ask the manufactory to sent us another whole info books about this boat.

'Course,... You've gotta tell Us what motor it Is 1st.....

Have a mechanic from the marina it is at go through it and tell you engine type and major options.

The NADA boat guides cover the older sunbirds, or at least they did.

Oh I think I understand.....
You are looking for the MCO and title for the boat so you can export it right? You must get them from the owner.

Just guessing guys, but I think what he means by menu is a spec listing for the boat. You know, length, beam, weight, capacities, engine specs, .... , etc.
