Is this a tiller boat or do you have remote steering? Electric start or rope start?

If a tiller, have you checked the tether or kill switch? If remote, have you checked the wiring?

I believe there is a fuse on that model, as well, but it's not one of the outboards I own. Someone will come along with that info.

Before throwing parts at a problem, it's really important to eliminate the simple reasons for suddenly having no spark. Kill switches and ignition switch wiring are very, very common reasons for spark suddenly failing. Also, on remote models, any fuses in the ignition system are something to check.

Happens all the time, especially on those models with the kill switch at the end of the tiller handle. No spark...first check the kill switch or the ignition switch on remote installations. It might not be that, but it's sure easy to eliminate and cheap to fix if that's what it is.

I remember on my old 1958 RDS-20...the thing just suddenly died, after running fine. Working backwards, starting with the simplest thing, I discovered that one of the kill wires had rotted off at the plug for the remote cabling. It fell down and shorted to ground. That saved me a lot of time, although I never did really fix it. I just used the electric choke from then on to kill the engine.

I'm sure glad I didn't pull the flywheel for that failure, but that's the equivalent of what the original poster did by replacing all those ignition parts, while still not solving the problem. It's a very common error.

Disconnect the kill switch completely and check for spark again. The thing is that it could be a wire shorting to ground inside the tiller handle or somewhere under the cowling. Eliminate the entire kill switch circuit, as much as possible, then check for spark again.

Since you replaced most of the ignition system already, I'm betting you're going to find that the problem was caused by something extremely simple, like a grounded wire or something like that. Trace everything down.

Also, check the wiring to the neutral safety switch. I don't know where that is on that outboard. Everything that is connected in any way to the ignition system should be examined closely and checked.
