got this motor on fle-bay for 92 whole dollars!started in 3 pulls.this is a 1939 22.5 hp evinrude that should look very nice on the back of my cedarstrip boat ,for short runs.

Just be sure the boat is aimed in the direction you want to go when you pull the rope, OK? A direct drive 22.5 hp outboard is gonna go when it starts.

will do !yah it kind of makes me laugh,i call it my point and shoot rig!be patient on waiting for the pic,s as were aways from the boating season yet,proably a couple or more months!

the boating season never ends! winter is the time to get cheap outboards and do maintenance and repairs to the boat!

How about 5 bucks in gas!Because i live hundreds of miles from anywheres and in Canada i wouldnt of bid on it but just my luck it was in this little town i live in.Im suppose to go to a guys place with a buddy to see the antqiues he has on the barn wall so maybe i will get another good find.

Looks like a model 6039. Nice motors! I've run ours a few times. Now you need the Johnson counterpart - the PO-15!
