Info on 1987 mercury 150 xr2

hi guys,
can anyone tell me if these engines are good? whats differeence between xr2 and regular 150..

A XR2 is a standard 150hp with a 200hp tuner,exhaust divider plate,advance box,cowling vents and decals. It is a good engine and maybe makes a additional 10-15hp on topend with the above parts.

whats good compression numbers on this engine..

All compression guages do not read the same,so a good basic reading would be 100psi and higher and all within 10psi if each other.

can you cross reference serial number to find out model number.. serial number is ob23120.. trying to find out all i can. can anyone tell me wwhat the model number is by the serial number.
