I know this is a stupid question, but I just bought a Larson SEI190 2001 Model equipped with a 2000 Johnson 115 OB Model J115PLSSB. I'm told I need to separate the oil and gas on this engine. Fine. Where is the oil reservoir. We've searched the entire outboard and decided it isn't there. Neither does the boat seem to have one in it. Any suggestions$$$$$Yes, I feel stupid posting this.

Re: Can't find oil resivoir

there's usually a tank in the bilge area and a reservoir on the side of the motor itself....now it's possible that someone removed all of that and premixes straight into the tank.

Re: Can't find oil resivoir

the easiest way to find it is go to http://shop2.evinrude.com/ext/index.aspx?s1=d3a26d2366c8818957b7ddd56bd16e50 put in your info as requested under parts (if this link doesnt take you straight to the diagram) and pull up the diagram for the "fuel bracket and components" section the oil delivery hose is #1 in the diagram.........then you can just track it down from there.

p.s. there are no dumb questions.
