With those pictures of canyons landscape lakes... I cant wait until I move to the next phase of my life and I can move to the midwest... My daughter want to go to college in arizona. Maybe I will use that for an excuse. LOL... I will miss the southeast. I love my rednecks here and some of the weather and landscape, specially Florida, is similar to home (Puerto Rico)...
Can y'all punish me a bit more with a few more of those pictures? Heck, any pictures whatsoever of lake "landscape"...

I suppose that would be considered the midwest when you are on the east coast to some!

I will agree though, some of those lakes are just gorgeous and could easily tempt one to make a move just to be near them.

lots of glacial moraines but no soaring rocky cliffs, just lots of lakes, trees, beans and corn
sometimes I wish they would cut down the trees so we could see the forests

I'd send you pics from the mid west but our lakes are still frozen. The north part of the state anyway. Supposed to snow again this evening.

Yah, up here in the Midwest North, we're still waiting for the ice to go off the lakes. There is one advantage, though: We put less hours on our boats, so they last longer.
