They've been replaced by Fiberglass Coatings Inc. Their website is p**s poor. They apparently do not have the selection of resins and certainly don't give any good description of the products. They also make you 'call for prices'.

http://www.fgci.com/ This was what my U.S. Composite bookmark brought up. I emailed them and told them how poor their site was.

I'm bummed as it was always such a good resource with decent prices, albeit, expensive shipping from FLA to the PNW.

http://www.uscomposites.com/ Here is us composite's website i dont know where that one came from.

Yeah dade, I just googled them. I do not know what happened. My US Composite bookmark was longstanding and I'd used it may times, but when I just used it, it took me to this other site.

All things being equal, US comp's site sucks, too. I need to order about 15 different items from them and they have no 'Add to Cart' functionality, so I'm forced to browse all of the place just to hand write their part #s and copy them to their stupid order form. I feel like I'm back in the days of catalog ordering. Pathetic. osCommerce is a free eCommerce suite, they could use Drupal and UberCart, there's no excuse to have such a useless commerce site nowadays.

They probably don't have anyone who is computer/web skilled there... it's a very very low overhead company. I wouldn't be surprised if it's less than 10 people.

They can keep the crappy site, just as long as they keep the cheap prices and good quality :)

I am definitely pleased with their selection. Keeps me from having to run all over town to find reasonably priced supplies. Mostly the simple things you always forget, like disposable measuring cups or stir sticks.

Maybe I'll take a couple of days and make them a new site. Just so happens I can make eCommerce sites. If anything, it'll keep me well practiced while I'm knee deep in fiberglass dust.

When I started this , I learned a lot for there site , Its not high tech, but get the job done !! I was at all the web sites , reading reading and reading some more , and then rereading !!!

What really sold me on them was when I ordered the thick epoxy resin . They called me the next day asking if i was using it to wet out the glass I ordered from them , well Mike told me that it wouldn't work and that I needed the thin set resin !!!!!

Now in my book that counts for a lot, and I will do my business with people like that any time !!!!! John
