no spark 9.9 force

92x90a will jolt my hand when hanging onto plug wire.put plug in and get no spark at plug.whats wrong does anyone know?

Sounds like you have a crack and need to replace the wire.

they are like new.motor has been in storage 8yrs.how about coils being bad from sitting in storage.maybe bad ground?

With the plug wire attached to the plug (plug in motor) have somebody pull the rope and you watch for any sparks or flashes coming from the wire or anywhere else for that matter. Do this in the dark so you can see the spark. If it starts shut it off asap.

If you don't see anything unusual go buy a $4.00 spark tester at Harbor freight and verify your not getting spark at the plug.

I don't think a bad coil or ground is going to cause you to get shocked by holding the wire. Sounds like you have good spark but the spark is jumping from the wire to a ground (your hand being the ground).

had boater freind come over today to help me.he found loose magnet inside flywheel maybe problem solved.any idea how far apart it should be from the magnet thats in there.they look like they were 1/2 inch.i know this is suppose to be millimeters but cant find it on net.
