surge brakes locked???

I have a load rite trailer which has a double axle i believe its a '01. I stupidly forgot to unhook the saftey break line after putting the boat away for the winter, and when pulling away from the trailer i locked the saftey breaks by pulling that saftey line and cante figure out how to unlock the breaks. If anyone knows how to unlock them i would greatly appreciate the knowledge.

not to sound like a wise a**, but call the factory and they may be able to send/email/lead you to a website and get a manual to you.
Otherwise, can you post a pix of the surge brake unit? I am familiar with most of them...

If you have the type of safety chain that goes through the top of your actuator then all you need to do is remove the four bolts and push the handle to the rear. The little 'clips' might need to be crimped again but no big deal there.
Check your brake resevoir while there. Certainly hoped that helped a little.

Have posted 2 more pics, i really want to get the boat in the water and cant right now because of the locked surge brakes so if anyone can help (don't see four bolts that come out) i would appreciate it. Someone i know suggested backing the trailer up ( haven't tried it because dont want to ruin the trailer) does any one know if that would work?

If the trailer has drum brakes backing up the trailer may fix it. You wont hurt the trailer it only will take a few feet.

What position was the lever in before you left it attached? It looks like it cant have to much travel in either direction.

The lever was facing back towards the black brake resivour in a more downward position
