1975 70 hp Evinrude Choke Problem

Hello, I have a 1975 70 hp Evinrude that was running great. Now it seems that is not the case. To get the motor to start, I have to hold the choke. It will start immediately and as soon as I let go, the motor dies. Not real sure what to do, any help would be much appreciated.

sounds like you have a fuel problem, clean the carbs then if you can only keep the motor running while sqeezeing the primer bulb you have a fuel pump problem.
