Need help with my ignition switch

I recently bought a new ignition switch for my Johnson 80 seahorse, it is an after market six prong switch, so what i need help with is on the old switch which is a three prong it says: Ign, Batt, S.....on the new switch it has the letters: B, M, A, I, M, C,....no S, so what i was wonder in which letter do i use for S??....also my engine manual says to hook the Batt to the capacitor..which i have no idea what it is or what it looks like...or if i just need to hook it straight up to the battery.....THANKS VERY MUCH TO ALL WHO HELP......RORY BAKER

hook up a multimeter and test for high ohms when you turn the key to start.m is for magneto,b battery,i ignition,a acces.c choke push in usually.

it's the wrong switch. the switch you bought B, M, A, I, M, C, is for a magneto ignition. You need to get the correct switch.
