The most common question I hear on this forum is "Where are you located?" So many answers depend on where the person is posting from. So many are cadets, and maybe forget their to enter their location when signing on. I doubt any of them are afraid to tell us. So lets get our info updated. SHOUT OUT LOUD where you are. The guy answering your question might just be around the corner.

Gotta be better than half the folks using the site do not list their location, it's kind of annoying. I find it interesting to see where all the people are from.

Ok for those that dont know you can go to the user CP in the upper left hand corner of the page and edit your profile with your location ( its one of the options in the user cp ) . I agree putting your location in your profile helps alot in answering questions and also lets others who might be just around the corner from you what area your in . I know there are several members here from Ky. most of them though dont have their profiles filled out ( we are not going to snatch your boat in the middle of the night ) I have waaaaaaaaaay to many projects already myself . I might drop one in your yard while your sleeping though LOL.

Just south of Allentown or 90 minutes north of Philadelphia.

Jeepman, how far is Cambridge,Ontario from Charleston Lake? The lake is 15 minutes from the border at the 1000 Island Islands/ Wellesley Island border crossing.

We vacation at Whispering Pines right on Charleston Lake at the southern end by the dam. In fact, we'll be heading up in a couple of weeks.

I addressed this issue earlier this year. People secretly hiding their location. One of the Mods said they do it for security reasons. What security? If they are worried about security they shouldn't be on this site. It's annoying to have to ask 1/2 the posters where your at or where you from? Location should be manditory. Either home port or city and state.

I live just 1 hour south of the Mighty Mackinaw Bridge in Roscommon, MI and boat in Higgins lake 5 miles from home or Houghton Lake 16 miles from home or Lake George in West Branch which is 40 miles south of here. I'll make another suggestion. Order the iboats decal and put it in the back window of your tow vehicle so boaters at the dock or ramp will see you belong to iboats. Who knows you may meet another member.
