if i buy 16 gauge 4 conductor wire, it shows black,white,red,green inside the sheath..can i use the individual wires? am i actually getting 4 wires of 25ft?

i'm imagining a pos/neg/grnd for whatever purpose i want.

will ea of the cloors be 16 gauge?

Yep, you are correct on everything

Each wire can be used indivdually

Each wire is 16 AWG

You will recieve on "cable" 25 feet long consisting of 4 individual 16 awg wires colored differently inside a sheath.

As an example: One could be used as power, one as common, one as signal, etc.
