Hello to all,
i have a problem....i have a boat with two Volvo AD41 and DP sterndrives. when i was changing the lower unit oil, made a big mistake and put the engine oil (15w-40), insted the gear lube (75w-90). the boat still out of the water. to correct this situation i take all the engine oil from lower unit.
my worry is, i dont know if theres any problem to put now the correct gear oil in contact with residues of engine oil.
Can anyone help me?
