Installed new impeller, 5.7 mercuiser black scorpion ski sanger. Its overheating. got lh at top (hose to engine) rh bottom (hose to v drive) put impeller in the same way the old one was (turning left) no water comes out exhaust? Engine overheats???
The old impeller only had one fin missing and i retrieved it from the hose. When you refer to "backflush" How is that performed? The drain plug on the exhaust manifold broke off and a piece of it still plugs the hole.
