Hi all, I'm posting from the UK and would really appreciate some help.;)
I have a 2008 glastron GT185 and am having a few problems with the electrics, would like to try and solve the problem myself before I call the dealer/stealer out.
I seem to have lost power to the 2 switches and horn on the dashboard, one of the them is the accessory switch that runs my depth gauge and manual bilge, I've tried pressing the small black reset buttons also on the dash to no avail:( Everything else is working fine, the ignition, auto bilge, radio, the blower switch.
I'm sure, hoping:rolleyes:, it must be a fuse somewhere, but just can't find anything. Theres a 1amp fuse behind dash going to the depth gauge and one connected to the auto bilge, surely there must be more somewhere, but where:confused:
Really thankful for any help or pointers that anyone can give.

Re: Glastron GT185

Welcome to the boards. Your question is pretty boat specific, so an answer may be slow in coming... as someone will need to own the exact boat. however it may be part of the motor, but you can help us help you by telling us the type of motor, and maybe if you have 1 battery or

You may want to call the dealer and ask where the fuse block is, they should not charge you for that... or go in and "shop" for a new boat and ask the same question... doubt it has changed much in the last year.

Does the boat run? if yes, then it is a connection or in-line fuse someplace. if no, you may want to check the motor fuse/circuit breaker.

If you have a meter, you may want to try to trace the lines back from the switches until you find 12v.

Re: Glastron GT185

Thanks for the response, here's a bit more info.
The boat is running fine apart from the lack of power to these switches, its a 4.3l mercrusier with alphaone drive and single battery.
I do believe its got to be an in-line fuse somewhere, just can't find where:confused: been everywhere over the boat, and don't want to start pulling wires out.
Emailed Glastron direct with no repsonse yet, will try and contact local dealer again tomorrow.
Thanks,
